Joe's Rambles

We went down to the River Walk the other day. I love that place. It has a nice walking trail (about a mile and a half in length) and a really great view of the river (the Black Warrior River). Really great scenery. There are some old style Southern paddle boats (not sure what they are called) that come down the river and it really adds to the whole ambiance.

We went down to there about sunset last Friday. There was a big football game here that weekend and some fans showed up in yachts and boats and had a tailgate of sorts (what's the nautical equivalent of tailgating? Sterngaiting? Bowgaiting? Portgaiting? I have no idea!). We took a view pics of the river, the sunset, and the boats. Hope you enjoy.
